Development Officer

DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

 

Responsible for managing Agency?s Annual and Planned Giving Programs.  Position will be required to develop and implement an annual solicitation plan for annual giving donors, coordinate direct mail projects, cultivate all annual and planned giving prospects, manage ongoing stewardship activities with current donors, and manage all planned giving outreach efforts with the Planned Giving Committee.  Position will also support special events, major gifts, and volunteer program activities.

 

MINIMIM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

 

Bachelor?s degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred.

Three to five years of relevant experience planning and implementing fundraising programs.

Proficient PC skills in MS Office and donor databases; Raiser?s Edge experience preferred.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Excellent presentation skills.

Superior writing skills

Valid California driver?s license and automobile liability insurance.
