  DIRECTOR OF FOUNDATION AND CORPORATE GIVING

Fred Jordan Missions is a non-profit, faith-based educational and relief organization meeting the needs of hungry, homeless, and impoverished people, especially children and families in the inner cities of America and around the world.  We are seeking a Director of Foundation & Corporate Giving to organize, develop, and expand the area of corporate and foundation contributions. 

 

Responsibilities

?  Develops strategy and researches opportunities to increase funding from foundations, corporations, and other philanthropic organizations

?  Prepares and submits grant proposals and applications

?  Develops budget and creates program descriptions for various Mission ministries

?  Establishes professional relationships with foundation and corporate contacts

?  Maintains detailed records of correspondence, proposals, and reporting on foundations and corporations

?  Submits monthly department reports and status reports on grant schedule to the President, Vice President, and Board Members

?  Performs other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:  Bachelor?s Degree required; Master?s Degree strongly preferred.  Minimum three (3) years of successful grant writing experience in corporate and foundation fund raising.  Ideal candidate possesses exceptional writing, analytical and research abilities as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.  Possesses an exemplary Christian lifestyle and is an active member of a local Christian fellowship. Salary is dependent upon qualifications.
