Receptionist

Girl Scout Council of Orange County has an immediate opening for a full time front desk receptionist at their location in Costa Mesa. This position reports to the Office Services Supervisor. Principal responsibilities include but are not limited to promoting and maintaining excellent public relations through efficient orderly management of the main reception area, as a point of first contact for walk-in customers. Assists and directs customers in a courteous and professional manner. Answers and routes all incoming calls and performs other related telephone communication system functions. Maintains and updates the receptionist desk procedural manual. Ensures the front desk and lobby area is neat and orderly. Maintains event and other Council information in the reception area. Sorts the daily mail and distributes as required. Prepares payment approval forms for Office Services and Property Departments. Cross-train to  provide back-up coverage for Office Services Coordinator. Assists with outgoing mail/bulk mailings, equipment check-in/check-out and will-call pick ups as needed. Responsible for opening, closing and securing telephone switchboard, front and back doors. Responsible for end of day start-up of kitchen dishwasher in employee breakroom.
