Support Counselors

Olive Crest has immediate openings in our Residential Group Homes for Support Counselors.  This position is responsible for a major part of the care and treatment of clients, including developing and maintaining relationships with each client that communicates acceptance, warmth, interest and understanding.

We have full time, part time and on-call positions available. 

 

Duties include:

? Supervise care and treatment of clients residing in home.

? Interface with clinical staff, community agencies, administrators, and public school personnel.

? Implement treatment plan as devised by team and directed by case manager.

? Maintain accurate records and reports on a daily basis.

? Ensure proper medical attention for each client.

? Administer and accurately document all medications, i.e. medication log.

? Transport clients to appointments, i.e. court, medical, school, when needed.

? Develop and supervise area of concentration, i.e. education, recreation, budget, medical, nutrition.

? Maintain accurate budgets with receipts and a record of all funds spent.

? Attend and participate in all staff, treatment team and in-service training meetings.

? Provide clients with access and freedom of choice to attend religious services.

? Crisis intervention.

 

Qulifications Include:Must be at least 21 years of age. Must have criminal record clearance. Must have current California Driver's License. Must have acceptable driving record per the conditions of our vehicle insurance carrier.
