BRANCH OPERATIONS MANAGER

An international full-service industrial distributor of electrical components and distribution equipment is looking for a Branch Operations Manager. Be part of a leading market share, rapidly growing company that focuses on providing excellent customer service and value added services. In this fast-paced environment you will be managing all aspects of a distribution branch warehouse and expected to act as the "sole proprietor' of the business.

Responsibilities include:

Customer service, inside sales, warehousing, transportation, quality of operations, facilities and equipment maintenance, Human Resources, compliance to policies and procedures and administration. You will be expected to run this branch as a profit center including hiring/training of your staff, accurately receiving and controlling inventory, quoting and sourcing products for customer needs as well as all aspects of customer order fulfillment. Key measures of success are on time shipment, billing margin generation, sales growth, operating cost control, inventory levels and asset management.

Compensation is commensurate with experience and past performance including a significant management incentive program based on clearly defined measures. Full benefits including medical/dental, 401K, insurance, paid vacations/holidays and cafeteria plan are included. Limited travel is expected.

To qualify for this job you must have:A minimum of 5 years of related experience in industrial distributionA minimum of 5 years of prior proven management supervisory experienceA four-year college education
