Collateral Analyst

·To objectively evaluate client credit availability on asset based revolving lines of credit using agreed upon loan covenants and actual collateral balances submitted on borrowing base statements.
?Interact with clients to obtain, review and reconcile monthly borrowing base statements
?Respond to daily client credit advance requests by confirming credit availability
?Coordinate with Account Executives to evaluate new credit requests through analysis of financial assets and equipment appraisals
?Complete all pre-funding and documentation requirements for new and renewal activity to ensure accurate collateral positions
?Ensure CIT collateral position is properly secured, documented and recorded

?Minimum 2 + years of experience in a Commercial Finance environment
?Highly organized with strong attention to detail and comfortable with multiple task assignments
?Professional interpersonal and communication skills
?Entry level knowledge of accounting principles and reconciliation procedures
?Ability to assist with the analysis of problem accounts and propose solutions to customer service issues
?Proficient in all MS Office applications, specifically Excel and Word
?Able to maintain relevant and ongoing communication with customer base and Vendor/Dealer accounts
?Working knowledge of CIT documentation and UCC laws and vehicle titling procedures
