Senior Consultants and Project Managers (experience in the semiconductor, pharmaceuticals, biotech, manufacturing, and/or medical device industries)

Tefen USA, a leading international operations consulting firm, has immediate openings for Senior Consultants and Project Managers to work on a permanent or contract basis.

 

Tefen USA assists in the transformation of an organization?s operations improvement initiatives through unique consulting and management engineering methodologies and tools. Our mission is to design and implement innovative operational solutions that improve the bottom-line performance of our clients through increased productivity, reduced operational costs, and optimized business processes. We are currently seeking candidates to support that mission.

 

To be considered for this position you must possess the following:

* Experience in one or more of the following: health care, pharmaceutical, semi-conductor, automotive, biotech, or manufacturing industries; supply chain, packaging, process engineering, quality control, or quality systems.

* Experience in developing and/or improving systems, business processes and tools to help meet customer needs and achieve business objectives within budgetary targets.

* Excellent problem solving skills.

* Knowledge of operations excellence concepts and tools, such as value stream mapping, business process redesign, six sigma, modeling and simulation, cycle time reduction, facility layout design, etc.

* An understanding of one or more of the following: lean manufacturing, MRP, advanced planning and scheduling, supply chain management, strategic sourcing,  organizational design, or operational IT packages (ERP, LIMS, Doc. Management, etc.).

* Knowledge of Access and Excel.

* Excellent oral (presentation) and written communication skills.

* Minimum of 6 years of relevant industry experience in an operations role. BS/MS degree in engineering or equivalent, or an MBA degree with an engineering undergraduate degree preferred.

 

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Industry certifications, such as a Six Sigma Black Belt/Master Black Belt, APICS, are desired but not required. Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) is a plus. Familiarity with modeling and simulation software, statistical analysis software is a plus. Candidates must be comfortable with up to 80% travel.
