Logistic Coordinator

- Creates monthly, weekly and daily transportation and load out
plans/schedules. Trains load out personnel to create daily load out
schedules and be prepared to delegate that responsibility.
- Closely coordinates with customer service and production in developing
plans and schedules.
- Works with business logistics manager to continually optimally
resize/redeploy rail fleet.
- Schedules rail and trucking assets on monthly, weekly and daily basis.
This includes working closely with rail service providers to schedule
railcar switches.
- Monitors delivery performance (on-time shipments and offloaded product
quality)
- Ensures loadout personnel are properly trained in safe operation of load
out equipment, to include track mobile. Ensure loadout personnel are
able to perform other basic tasks such as proper placement and
placarding of railcars and calling in railcar switches.
- Coordinates the internal movement and monitors performance of clay and
sand trucks between plant, mine and rail load out.
- Ensures all data entry related to certificates of analyses and bills of
lading are timely and correct.

Job Requirements:
- B.S. degree in related field or equivalent experience.
- 3 - 5 years experience scheduling transportation (specifically including
rail) and managing logistics in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in process manufacturing, particularly chemical and/or oil
and gas, a plus.
- Computer literate in ERP software(such as SAP, Oracle, JDE) and MS
Office, Project and Visio
- Good verbal and written communicator with ability to effectively
interact with all levels in the organization as well as customers.
- Must pass pre-employment basic skills test
