Position Overview

Oversee and coordinate all setups and strikes to ensure successful completion. Source out additional labor needs, supervise on-site labor and meet labor deadlines. Supervise and conduct proper installation of equipment, cabling and accessories. Oversee the daily inventory as it relates to all incoming and outgoing equipment for the current events including a daily log of all lost, missing or damaged equipment. Assist with the sale of projects, up-selling, engineering, site surveys and proposals when necessary.


Position Accountabilities

Oversee and coordinate installation projects. On-site supervision and assistance with all aspects of the projects. Pre-planning. Source out labor and coordinate timeframes and deadlines with clientele. Ensure projects are engineered correctly and follow-up to ensure equipment is ordered correctly, available, delivered and struck on time. Assist with sales. Conduct site surveys and prepare proposals as necessary. On-site up-selling. Communicating and preparing change orders. Keep current on new technology and trends in the industry. Make equipment recommendations to sales, purchasing staff and cliente.


Job Requirements

5 years experience with installations or engineering of audiovisual systems. Must have experience and knowledge of the hospitality and installation industry. High school diploma is required, however, a college degree is preferred. Must have a strong background in CADD design, Excel, Word and Lotus Notes. Ability to decipher and prepare construction documents.
