Director/Senior Product Manager

Are you passionate about creating new software products that will change the way millions of people shop? Do you have experience building e-commerce, search, online shopping carts or payment systems? Can you manage a product throughout its execution cycle, including gathering requirements, defining vision, obtaining consensus on specifications, and working closely with engineering to implement and iterate? If so, read on? Shopzilla is seeking a talented and experienced product manager to lead the development of a set of new consumer oriented products. In this role you will be responsible for the development of new and critical products from the business case to the post deployment stage. You will be directly involved in building, driving and managing the cross functional teams that will define the vision and turn it into reality.

Qualifications: - 8+ years of Product Management experience with a proven track record of success. Ideally you acquired your experience working on leading large scale consumer Web sites. - Demonstrated experience gathering business requirements, formulating business cases, producing functional product requirements, and delivering high ROI. - Experience in the comparison shopping, ecommerce, internet search, internet payment systems or online carts. - Demonstrated experience recruiting and managing high performance product development teams. - Solid experience of software project management. Exposure to Agile development a plus. - 5+ years experience with Object Oriented Architecture and Design, UML modeling, and Object Oriented software development. - Demonstrated ability to take initiative and succeed in an entrepreunerial environement. - Outstanding communications skills and team player. - BS in Computer Science required, MS or higher preferred. - MBA preferred.
