Field Promotion Manager

Job Purpose

 

The Field Promotion Manager (FPM) functions as the execution and communication person for client-based promotional programs.  Primary role is development, implementation and post-analysis of planned promotional program calendars in conjunction with company and client personnel.  Focus is on delivering measurable results to the client manufacturers and their brands through superior program management.  Result will be obtained through effective communication and superior follow-up with the client, company and all third party partners.

 

Job Responsibilities

 

? Manage planned promotional programs and events for clients.

? Research and negotiate with third party properties, events and media organizations.

? Determine project components including: concept, event, media and POS materials and associated costs.

? Collaborate with company?s sales force and/or marketing team during program development and execution.

? Communicate with create factory to deliver desired results.

? Perform project management duties including: program tracking, budgets, internal and external reporting.

? Inspection and reporting of in-market execution and effectiveness of promotional programs.

? Post promotional evaluations of programs.

? Other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

 

? Associate degree or Bachelor degree in marketing or equivalent applicable work experience.

 

? Two to four years of promotional experience.

 

? One to two years consumer products, media or agency experience.

 

? Creative self-starter.

 

? Strong organization, negotiation, and problem solving skills.

 

? Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

 

? Must be able to present effectively to large groups.

 

? Computer literate (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

 

? Must be able to effectively handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

 

? Team player with good people skills.
