Product Development Analyst

CMS BondEdge, an Interactive Data division headquartered in Santa Monica, California (with satellite offices in New York and London), provides fixed income analytical software to institutional investment managers. CMS BondEdge is a recognized leader in investment technology and an independent source of fixed income portfolio analytics, risk management tools and quantitative research.

 

CMS BondEdge seeks a motivated individual to work in our Product Development Department assisting in defining, analyzing, developing, testing and providing internal support for our BondEdge software and other products.



Key Responsibilities:

 Evaluate new (third party) fixed-income market data sets, create comprehensive data usage specifications and implement data improvement projects.Interact with the database programming department to ensure data is set up and interpreted correctly.Respond to inquiries from clients and/or client support representatives in regards to data integrity, resolving problems by correcting the data, if appropriate, or recommending other actions.Maintain the single-sourced user documentation in the form of Online Help, User Manuals and Technical documents (note ? writing the documentation is not required).Post content and maintain the functionality of the BondEdge Private Client Website and CMS BondEdge Intranet.

 

Qualifications:

 Bachelor?s degree or equivalent work experience preferred0 - 2 years work experienceExcellent communication skills including presentation and written abilitiesIntermediate PC skills in MS-Word and MS-ExcelBasic understanding of, or keen interest in learning various software tools and packages such as SQL-Query Language, HTML, Macromedia Robohelp, Paint Shop Pro, Adobe Acrobat, etc.
