Alltel is seeking a Product Manager ? Alltel Partner Program:
Description:
Responsible for partner selection and partner management related to the Alltel Partner Program. Manages solution partner selection process, solution testing across multiple platforms; Palm, Windows Mobile and BlackBerry. The successful candidate will develop strategic marketing plans and related objectives and implement new enterprise mobile solutions across industry verticals.
The Product Manager for Alltel?s Partner Program will identify and acquire needed content to support strategic objectives that meet enterprise customer demand.
The successful candidate will work with various marketing teams and appropriate internal Alltel departments (i.e., marketing communications, interactive, business sales and support) to drive awareness and adoption of mobile business solutions to our Small/Medium/Large Business.
Work with solution partners to secure assets for marketing materials, etc. Oversee the strategy, execution and on-going management of strategic partnerships within the assigned industry verticals. Acquire and utilize knowledge of industry economics, value drivers and segment insights needed to attain objectives.
Candidate will regularly report on key metrics to focus on attainment of objectives and Coordinates with B2B teams to create synergies and corporate customer sell-through of mobile enterprise solutions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required, MBA a plus.
3-5 years related marketing experience
3-5 years Wireless industry experience
Partner management experience required
Familiarity with wireless devices, operating systems and application platform strongly desired
Developer program experience a plus
Experience with wireless device application (either consumer or B2B) development a plus
Experience with roadmap planning and program development a plus
Experience launching products and managing cross-functional teams
