Product Manager - Pressure Sensitive Products
Recognized today as STA Packaging Tapes, we are a worldwide leader in carton sealing applications (carton sealing tape, hand dispensers, and case sealers). Founded in Southern California in 1976, under the name TA Industries, Inc., we have matured into the world?s largest manufacturer of water based acrylic packaging tape. Our facility is state of the art. Our grounds include ponds and waterfalls with winding walkways and bridges, and indoor/outdoor lunch areas!
We have an immediate opening for a skilled Product Manager for our Pressure Sensitive Products.
Responsibilities include:planning, development and implementation of effective marketing strategies in the given product segments.planning and directing R&D resources to address strategic market opportunities.establishing and maintaining effective communication and coordination with sales team, engineering and R&D team.new product concept engineering which includes application research and product testing.coordinating all phases of the New Product Development gate processes. Works with other functional teams to manage project schedules.Identifying partnering opportunities for complementary resale products to broaden the company's product line.producing product and market specific collateral and sales training tools.performing various sales and competitive analysis.assists in planning and coordinating trade shows.provides quotations for customized or customer-specific products.
Qualifications:BA in Marketing or Business Administration
Knowledge of marketing research, marketing strategy and new product development
Intermediate level: Excel, Access, Word, Project and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Adobe Photo Shop or Corel Draw a plus.
Experience:A minimum of 2 years of progressive marketing and product management responsibility. Previous pressure sensitive product industry experience preferred.
