Quality Assurance Manager

Our Mesa Medium Caliber Systems Division is experiencing great growth and has the following immediate opportunity:

 

Technical resource planning.  Drive technical excellence by ensuring department meets technical standards.  Set role and performance expectations and provide ongoing feedback and performance appraisals.  Drive timely and clearly communicated decisions and recommendations.  Drive data based decision making through the program.  Manage department budgets.  Indirect cost management.  Budget planning and forecasting.  Manage resources to support program schedules, balancing needs, priorities and cost.  Support major program reviews to provide back up to individual contributors.  Advocate technical excellence internally and externally to sustain technical credibility.  Interface with external supply chain to assure vendor quality assurance systems are robust and that root cause and corrective action activities are thorough and timely.

 

Requires:

 

Bachelor's Degree (BA or BS) in related field.

10 years of QA experience with demonstrated professional growth.  Prefer previous QA team management experience.

Significant experience in product manufacturing and demonstrated ability to manage personnel.

Thorough understanding of cross functional team management  with demonstrated performance in such an environment.

Thorough comprehension of the role of quality assurance as a business growth resource and not just a compliance activity.

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with senior management both internally and externally.
