Archaeological Project Manager

Archaeological Project Manager for its Tucson office.Project Manager handles the business aspects of CRM projects. She or he will be responsible for managing all types of cultural resources projects, from small surveys to large, complex excavations.

Responsibilities:Preparation and management of project budgets Preparation of proposals Project scheduling, logistics, and agency coordination Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and agencies Coordination with clients and staff Work with the Principal Investigator, Field Director, and Lab Director to ensure that research goals are met under the schedule and budget constraints.

Qualifications:Five years supervisory field experience and Bachelors degree in anthropology or related field (MA preferred) Knowledge of Southwest prehistory and history Knowledge of Southwest archaeological field methods and project approaches Experience in budget, schedule, and proposal preparation Working knowledge of cultural resource law and regulations, including Section 106 of the NHPA Must have a good written and oral communication skills, and work well in a team environment
