Manager, Program Control

Minimum Qualifications/Education/Experience: (or Equivalent Combination of Experience and Education). A Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) in Business, Finance, Engineering, or equivalent experience is required. MBA preferred. Ten years of related experience is required.
Skills Needed: (Including any Machinery.). Knowledge of MSOffice, MSProject, MPM, and Costpoint software packages. Demonstrated proficiency and expertise in program management techniques including EVMS, EAC, cost/schedule processes. Demonstrated proficiency in analysis of schedule critical path, cost performance reports, identification of inconsistencies, impact to program, and implementation of corrective action plans. Demonstrated initiative, flexibility, and resourcefulness to support fast-changing program requirements. Ability to direct program scheduling function. Proven leadership in multi-functional environment. Excellent oral, written, presentation and interpersonal skills with history of interfacing effectively with all levels of management as well as both internal and external customers.
Duties Specific to This Position: (Other Related Duties as Required or Directed). Establish and maintain cost and schedule baselines and forecasts that meet the program and company requirements. This shall employ company EVMS practices, and shall be integrated with the program SOW, and other program planning documents. Perform variance analysis for explaining and interpreting impact of results against quarterly and yearly plan/forecast. Assist CAMs in earned value implementation to include organizing the work, developing cost and schedule baselines, updating forecasts, perform monthly analysis, and management of scope change control. Supports customer business reviews. Lead the IPTs and CAMs in preparing for and participating in Integrated Baseline Reviews and follow-up surveillance and audits. Support proposal efforts for the program. Interacts with all levels of the organization and external representatives at a higher level. Other duties as required.
