We are seeking a Project Engineer who can come in and drive a running project.Our client has been in business for 75 years. The company specializes in the manufacturing of high end valves and sprinkler systems for many recreational facilities, private clients located both in the U.S and overseas.

 

This candidate must be able to communicate in English and Madarin for clients overseas. The candidate will also travel overseas every other month.

 

Location: Torrance, California

 

Duration: Full-time



Job Summary:

 

 

 

The Project Engineer will be responsible for the organization and tracking of the company?s outsourcing projects. In addition he/she will have direct responsibility for completing the outsourcing of a major product brand under an aggressive schedule. Overseas travel will be required every other month in two-week periods.

 

Minimum qualifications:

 BS in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field.Bilingual English-Mandarin2 ? 5 years experience in supplier selection/development10 years experience in a manufacturing environmentFamiliar with MS Office programs including MS ProjectSelf-starter, works with minimal supervisionProven track record of on-time completion of projects.

 

Desired qualifications:

 Familiar with Pro-ENegotiation skills
