Contract Specialist

Contract Specialist Description: Volt Information Sciences, Inc., a Fortune 1000 publicly traded company, has an immediate opening for a Contracts Specialist located in our corporate facility in the city of Orange. With over 250 offices across the United States, the need for an experienced Contracts professional with impeccable communication skills is essential to the overall success of the organization. The Contracts Specialist will be responsible for reviewing and negotiating terms and conditions of many different contracts to capture and implement agreed-upon business concepts with customers and suppliers. This includes drafting and modifying contract language, analyzing contract liabilities, and providing support, analysis and responses within stringent time frames in order to meet deadlines. This position requires significant field interaction on a national level and on-going communication with senior managers.



Requirements:
The qualified candidate will have a minimum of three years Contracts experience within a services company including writing summary reports and negotiation of terms. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must as well as demonstrated customer service capabilities. Samples of your writing may be requested. Intermediate proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Access are required and the ability to work in a deadline-driven, team-oriented environment is also a must. A Bachelors degree is strongly preferred.
