Digital Press Operator

Key Role: Work in the print shop of the Booz Allen San Diego office.?Operate high-speed color and black-and-white digital presses and perform hands-on production, including finishing, laminating, and binding. Perform convenience copier troubleshooting and coordinate maintenance with vendor technicians.?Provide overall consistent customer service and quality assurance to a large client staff. Collaborate and assist with mailroom and distribution service duties as required.?



Basic Qualifications:


-1+ years of experience in an in-plant print facility or mailroom or a commercial print facility using digital presses, including Canon, Xerox, or Oce


-Experience with Fiery color servers, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat


-Experience with using bindery or finishing equipment, including a 3-hole spindle drill, GBC binding equipment, book stitchers, a 20-inch hydraulic paper cutter, or a laminator


-Ability to obtain a security clearance


-HS?diploma required?

Additional Qualifications:


-Ability to learn FedEx, UPS, and DHL distribution services


-Ability to work independently


-Experience with Xerox color printers a plus


-Knowledge of postal regulations a plus
