The Rutter Group, a Thomson West business in Encino, California, is actively seeking a full-time, Entry-Level Editor (or Editorial Assistant). Responsibilities will include heavy proofreading of legal text, legal research using Westlaw and general office duties.

 

Our ideal applicant is detail-oriented and efficient, possesses excellent grammar, punctuation and spelling skills and is able to work independently in a very quiet environment.














Qualifications

 

College degree is required.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word is required.

Some proofreading experience is preferred.

Must also be able to work effectively to meet monthly publishing deadlines.
