SUPERVISOR, PRINTING OPERATIONS

We are Oberthur Card Systems of America Corp., the Premier Solution Provider to the Card Issuance Industry.

 

This position is based at our Rancho Dominguez (southern L.A. County) facility and will work from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. supervising the operation of a 15 person print shop crew. 

 

The supervisor is responsible for the overall printing operations utilizing employees and equipment to fulfill the needs and requirements of the company and its customers.  Utilizing extensive print shop experience, our second shift superviisor will direct all pressroom activities to meet customer requirements of quality and quantity as well as identifying problems and generating solutions.  We are looking for a coach, a mentor and an excellent communicator.

 

We print on plastic sheets, utilizing 6 color Komori, 5 color and three 2 color Heidelbergs.  Other jobs also run on our autocylinder silkscreen presses.

 

You must have excellent supervisory skills, going well beyond 'hiring and firing" responsibilities.
