NS Corporation is looking to fill a key role in the organization. Company is located 5 minutes from LAX.

We seek an aggressive, self-motivated, highly experienced, Purchasing Professional that has a demonstrated history of excelling in a fast-paced environment. Candidates will need a minimum of five years purchasing experience. This experience must include strong purchasing skills, supply chain management, contract negotiation and analysis of purchasing activities. This role will require interaction with the directors, senior staff members and plant employees. 5 years experience working in a Manufacturing Environment and previous work as a Purchasing Manager a plus. 

 

The responsibilities for the position include:

Recruiting and maintaining suppliers to ensure quality, price, delivery, and service at a price that maximizes company profit margins while maintaining the highest code of ethics and conduct.

Evaluating vendor quotations by utilizing appropriate negotiation and supply chain techniques.

Preparing, issuing and reviewing purchase orders.

Managing inventory and reconciling discrepancies.

Implementing, managing, monitoring and revising supply chain processes and reporting systems to meet company requirements.

? Must possess strong negotiating skills and be versed in modern strategic purchasing concepts.
? Must be able to employ proper leadership cycle to a variety of situations and be skilled in conflict resolution and facilitation of team action in a dynamic environment.
? Must possess strong analytical skills; be self-motivated, well organized, and detail-oriented; and be able to communicate effectively at all levels.
