Collateral International, a subsidiary of New South Federal Savings Bank, has an immediate opening in Birmingham, AL. Bilingual candidate preferred.  Candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent, some college is preferred but not required.  Must have 2 year?s of experience in mortgage loan originating or processing, or other closely related field.  Experience with LP/DU preferred.  a busy work environment.  Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, email applications, and general computer skills is required.  Will provide training for Empower.  Candidates should have excellent telephone, people, letter composition, presentation, and computation skills. Candidate must be able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks without direct supervision.  Candidate needs to have working knowledge of income tax returns to analyze income for self-employed clients.  Excellent attention to detail and strong customer service orientation is a must.  Must be able to interact professionally with both internal and external customers. The processor will originate and process loans of a complex nature, including construction-permanent loans from post application to closing documentation stage.
