Loan Operations Specialist

Summary Description

Prepares loan booking information in support of lenders origination and closing efforts.  Disburses loan proceeds and fees for loan closings and completes booking onto bank?s processing system.  Posts payments to loan accounts. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

We are looking for top talent to join our de novo bank, located at 4222 Camelback Road, Phoenix, AZ.

 

1. Performs a variety of duties related to loan origination, administration and closing.  Prepares loan proceeds disbursements, whether by wire transfer or cashier check.

2.  Verifies, prepares, and disburses fees to be sent to title companies for loan closings.

3.  Books loans received from loan assistants or title companies onto the bank?s processing system to complete the closing process.



 



Knowledge Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent

2. 2-3 years loan processing or commercial banking experience

3. General understanding of lending policies, procedures, and terminology

4. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
