TITLE: MANAGER PROPERTY & DEVELOPMENT

LOCATION: TEMPE

 



PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 

 

Coordinates property procurement and transfers, negotiates leasing contracts, liaisons with airport authorities, and negotiates and supervises renovation and construction projects by personally performing all duties.

 

Writes and reviews all request for proposals for renovation and construction projects. 

 

Interfaces and confers with airport authorities concerning facility changes and up-grades. 

 

Acts as Project Manager for all renovation and construction projects.

 

Serves as Company Liaison with all local airport authorities and government regulator bodies.  Creates positive relationships with all airport directors. 

 

When required serves as a mediator between local Company and facility airport

 

When required serves as mediator between local Company facility and airport.

 

Creates and maintains rolling five (5) year Company master property plan. 

 

Coordinates plan with local General Managers and annually briefs Company senior staff on the long term plan and proposed expenditures.

 

Negotiates leases and rental agreements. 

 



 

 

BASIC REQUIREMENTS: 

 Bachelor?s Degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

 Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. 

 Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effective present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

 Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. 

 Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

 Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. 

 Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

 

Software knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Project

 

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

 Work in a sitting position for long periods of time at a computer terminal.

 Lift up to 20 lbs.

 Think clearly, logically, and analytically.

 Write and speak clearly and intelligibly.

 Manipulate a computer keyboard and telephone handset.
