Mortgage Correspondent Liaison:
Job responsibilities not limited to:Leadership position in sales production and sales management for a Missouri, Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi territory offering a broad array of products and services offered by the Company.Regional Managers travels with Area Sales Manager to Correspondent client?s office, national and regional trade shows, and calls on their own clients to obtain production. In depth knowledge of residential loan production offerings and underwriting knowledge are required. Works closely with operations team leadership and regional liaison at home office to support sales efforts and client interaction along with client service enhancement.Manages 3-5 Area Sales Managers and is responsible for overseeing a Correspondent Seller base of up to 200-300 accounts for specific geographic locations. Accountable for attaining production, revenue, compliance and profitability goals set for their region by the Sr. VP of Production and/or Division Head within the product lines offered. Establishes and implements a marketing strategy for the designated territory. Position also has personal production responsibility. Must possess strong negotiation skills along with analytical skills with secondary marketing emphasis. Excel, Word, and Outlook skills are necessary for this position. Experience in sales presentations and possess ability to utilize PowerPoint in sales presentations where necessary. Outside office travel estimated at approximately 50%-60% of time.Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, are required. Requires comprehensive knowledge in mortgage design, product knowledge, and new business development. 8 to 10 years of Correspondent Lending account management experience with 2 to 5 years sales management and lead generation experience. 5-7yrs Correspondent Lending Account Executive Territory Management with established account base in the Missouri, Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi region.
Candidates should have a minimum of 5 recent years in residential mortgage banking; Senior processing, underwriting, and/or closing backgrounds are a plus. Ideal candidate will possess strong computer and internet skills, thrive in an extremely fast paced environment and enjoy the sales and operational aspects of working with a seasoned and highly driven sales force.
