Senior Project Manager

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to manage both new construction and remodel projects. Will be closely involved with all aspects of project and construction management for ongoing retail development projects including entitlement, contract management, budgeting, estimating, planning, scheduling, vendor management, job cost, progress tracking and client development nationally.

 

Responsibilities include:

 

? Oversees all aspects of project management including due diligence, design management, schedule and budget development, FF&E, construction and move in coordination.

? Regularly interacts with client to ensure that the client?s goals and objectives are being met.

? Oversees the preparation of accurate and complete reports to the owner and his/her internal team.

? Anticipates and responds to the client?s needs and concerns.

? Bids and negotiates accurate, timely, and complete contracts between the client and the vendors.

? Supervises and performs all aspects of contract administration including contract review, change orders, project start-up, and closeout.

? Represents our company is a business development role to outside consultants, architects, and clients.

? Develops and maintains new and existing business and participates in departments marketing activities to ensure maximum profit.

 

Requirements:

 

? Must have ten or more years of Project Management or Construction Management experience in the retail and commercial real estate field.

? Must have previous experience with ground up new construction, as well as tenant and site improvements of existing buildings.

? Strong entrepreneurial spirit, with vision and tenacity to recognize, pursue and develop potential growth and new business opportunities.

? Independent, self-starter mentality, with exceptional communication and organizational skills.

? Superior customer service orientation for both internal and external clients.

? Keen financial aptitude.

? Broad-based understanding of project management with strong planning and a ?detail oriented? focus.

? Ability to act on prompt, thoughtful systematic decisions and communicate in a diplomatic, tactful fashion.

? Experience with managing and motivating vendors in a team environment.

 

Must be willing to travel.
