Wholesale Mortgage Processor

GENERAL SUMMARY

 

The primary responsibility of this position is to support the company?s lending program by providing services of processor, maintaining investor relations for all loan products and monitoring guidelines, requirements and changes.  Adheres to company?s and investor?s loan and documentation policies and consumer protection guidelines.

 Summary of Requirements: Processing of mortgage loans according to client and secondary market guidelines (FNMA-FMNA).Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations as well as company?s policies and procedures.Responsible for the accurate input of loan information to computer system.Responds to phone inquiries from the Client and brokers on pending loans in process to expedite timely closings.Keeps informed of trends and development in local market.  Stays abreast of changing regulations and client guidelines.Ensures appropriate follow-up on documentation exceptions.Responsible for the accurate input of loan data to computer systemReview and approve pending loan conditions.Perform special projects and other duties assigned.

 

Specific Skills Required:Experience in NT, mainframe, and Internet technologiesStrong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to communicate effectively with employees and senior managementKnowledge in the area of credit, compliance and secondary marketing guidelines and documentation requirements.Specific Job Experience:

?  2-3 years processing experience.Education Required:

  ?  Bachelor?s degree or equivalent experience.
