Chemical Technician in Pasadena

Kelly Scientific Resources currently has an excellent opportunity in the Pasadena, CA area for a chemicaltechnician with a global leader in pressure-sensitive technology and self-adhesive solutions.

Position Description/Duties (include tasks to be performed and instrumentation required):

The successful candidate will work with research scientists in the lab to conduct experiments including coating materials development and formulations, polymer syntheses, material characterizations, etc. The following requirements are needed:

--Have a minimum of a B. Sc. degree. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer, Material
Science or related field.
--Advanced degree or 1 to 2 years working experience preferred.
--Experience in polymer materials is a plus.
--Have problem-solving skills.
--Good written and oral communication skills.
--Team player (work well with others).
--Good computer skills
--Commitment to work 30+ hours per week for a minimum of 6 months or longer.
