TITLE:   PROPOSAL IMPLEMENTATION ADMINISTRATOR

POSITION DESCRIPTION AND COMPANY SUMMARY

Responsible for development and coordination of proposals and implementations in support of market and product line business plans and strategic marketing programs to support sales in designated market segments, identify volume and strategic customers, and develop partnerships. Requires ability to analyze market data and identify trends and opportunities, develop strategic direction from market information, and create compelling market analysis presentations to be reflected in issued proposals. Coordinate zero defect implementations with local and global sales as well as appropriate business subject matter experts. The company is one of the world's leading international freight transportation and supply chain management companies.

 

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

? Perform top-level analysis and ad hoc reports for bid opportunities/implementations to complete a full understanding of the account strategy on the bid/implementation opportunity

? Coordinate the entire proposal & implementation process, resources, deliverables and timelines with internal and external customers.

? Initiate, update and complete Scope of Work requirements prior to bid completion.  Coordinate with required parties to ensure approvals have been obtained

? Complete audit process prior to deliver of proposal.  Review content, format, and delivery of strategy to ensure achieving on-time ?World Class? proposals

? Coordinate with other team members the distribution of workload within the group

? Update and maintain a ?premium? database of proposal/presentation content within the Proposal Response Library & Sales Planning & Support (SP&S) Website that will ensure the reduction of proposal/presentation production time

? Communicate and obtain accurate and complete information through positive and constructive interaction with subject matter experts

? Update and maintain Opportunity Management or other electronic tools/databases in a timely and accurate manner

? Completion of all internal and external quality/outcome surveys.  Monitor and report on satisfaction survey results.

? Complete review, validate strategy, and perform timely implementation rollouts to the Divisional Sales Force.  Monitor, track and report results until completion of implementation process requirements.

? Coordinate zero defect account implementations with sales and business experts

? Actively seek and implement new marketing ideas to further improve proposals, presentations and implementations

? Co-develop and initiate new tools and solutions to achieve quality and productivity improvements within the proposal and implementation process

 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

?  Bachelor?s degree or equivalent strongly preferred

?  Solid interpersonal and analytical skills

?  Prefer 1-4 years of related experience

?  Strong computer skills required ? Word & Excel

?  Industry experience a plus
