Chef/District Restaurant Manager

 

We are seeking a positive and energetic certified chef to manage several bistros in the Mesa, Arizona area.  This exciting career is in the 55+ communities and currently we have 8 RV resorts with 3 bistros, as well as a restaurant.  The position is for 10 months out of the year with 2 months off PAID during the summer.  Cal-Am Resorts offers a competitive salary and benefits, with a potential bonus at the end of each season. 

 

Job Duties include:

? Plans and participates in catering on and offsite events.

? Supervising, coaching and mentoring the onsite bistro and restaurant managers.

? Hiring, training and developing kitchen staff.

? Accounts receivable.

? Inventory of products.

? Placing food and beverage orders.

? Food preparation.

? Enforces and maintains a clean and safe environment.

 

Requirements:Must be a certified chef.Must have a current food manager?s license.Needs to be able to show demonstrated skills in safety, cleanliness and proper food handling procedures.Needs to be computer literate.Able to demonstrate great food presentation skills.Must have catering experience.
