District Sales Manager

 

Merchants Foodservice is seeking an experienced foodservice sales manager who lives in or willing to relocate to the Huntsville, Alabama area.  The candidate for this position must be a results driven manager who will manage an existing team while adding additional sales reps to focus on growing additional business in selected markets.  Some of the requirements needed to fill this position are:

 

  - College Degree preferred

- Three years experience as a sales manager

- Ability to set and achieve budgets in sales and profit

- Hire and train new sales people

- Continuous training of existing sales reps

- Developing existing accounts while adding new business

- Conduct monthly district meetings

- Contribute to monthly sales meetings

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

 

This position will report directly to the Director of Sales.  There is a competitive salary, bonus incentive, company car, cell phone and benefits package.  In addition, there are opportunities to move up with a growing distributor.  No relocation assistance.
