We are looking for a top-notch franchise consultant with a solid multi-unit management performance background.  The desired individual will have a proven track record marked by the ability to improve restaurant operations, as well as the ability to influence positive change.  Extensive knowledge of QSR restaurant operations and strong public speaking abilities are important.  Evidence of leadership skills and the desire to provide leadership to a peer group is a highly desired trait.  We are extremely interested in individuals who have a strong desire to grow with American Dairy Queen Corp. This is a full time Field Consultant position covering locations in South Central Alabama and the Florida Panhandle.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Provide business advice to restaurant operators on matters such as financial controls, personnel management, facilities, marketing, food preparation and quality and general business operations.Assist with new product introductions and promotional programs; help to guide implementation of these items in the district and provide training to restaurant operators accordingly.Timely and effectively communicate company policy with restaurant operators and internal team members through written and oral communication, and assist operators in implementing ADQ policy, procedures and programs.Identify potential or existing operation problems at restaurant locations and initiate, develop and implement appropriate solutions and measure results.Perform and demonstrate all operational duties in a ?DQ? restaurant environment.

 QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:


SkillsExcellent written communication, verbal communication and interpersonal skills required, including delivering presentations at public meetings. Intermediate computer skills; Microsoft Office Professional applications preferred. Math skills required to analyze profit and loss statements, perform breakeven calculations and develop profit plan projections. Must be able to learn how to make all products on our brand menu. Must have skills necessary to prioritize daily, weekly, monthly and yearly activities.

 

OtherValid driver?s license and clean driving record required. Must be able to travel away from home for several days per month. Ability to work in restaurant environment, including standing for extended periods, lifting/moving objects, some mechanical work with equipment
