Mylan has a need for a professional baker that would directly report to the Executive Chef in our state of the art cafeteria. 

 

Duties and responsibilities include:

 

1. Assist with preparation of baked goods and desserts, etc.

 

2. Handle and prepare food in accordance with sanitary regulations.

 

3. Take ala carte orders from customer and cook food requiring short preparation time according to customer requirements.

 

4. Assist in the cafeteria prep lists to ensure daily par levels are met.

 

5. Serve as a back up to the Cashier and Dishwasher when deemed necessary.

 

6. Assist in the check in and stocking of all vendor deliveries.

 

7. Ensure inventory control and stocking the front of the cafeteria.

 

8. Assist in the set up and tear down process for catering of business functions.

 

9. Keep kitchen clean and organized.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

Graduate from a professional culinary school with at least 1 year experience or 3 years of baker experience is required. Must possess good written and oral communication skills, interpersonal skills and strong work ethic.
