Operations Manager - BIRMINGHAM

Emser Tile LLC, a nation-wide industry leader in the distribution of high quality ceramic tile and natural stone seeks an Operations Manager for our BIRMINGHAM Branch. The Operations Manager will be responsible for all operational functions at the branch level including order management, stock replenishment, receiving and inventory control. Additionally, the position will support the branches sales through excellent client service and assisting the needs of the sales staff.

Experience and Skills:


Qualifications:

Successful history in managing branch operations
Inventory control experience within a plant, distribution or receiving / fulfillment setting
Excellent communication skills required
Strong computers systems skills required, exposure to inventory management software a plus
Proven ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with management, employees and clients
Experience in sales or sales support a plus
Knowledge of the tile/flooring or home improvement industry a plus
