Nextel Partners is seeking a motivated, high-energy person to sell wireless data and voice solutions in a retail environment. In this role, you?ll acquire new customers through walk-in?s, referrals, networking and telemarketing to overachieve your sales quota. You will also uphold our Guiding Principle of Striving for 100% Customer Satisfaction by providing superior customer service to new and existing customers by determining the customers needs and effectively communicating the benefits of Nextel?s product, services, features, rate plans and special promotions. You?ll contact existing customers for contract renewals, and various data, accessory and handset up-sell opportunities. You will also service all customers in regards to billing issues, equipment upgrades and general information as well as follow all company operational procedures.

 

The successful candidate will have 1+ year?s retail sales experience in a quota-bearing environment. The candidate must also have effective oral/written communication; Strong interpersonal and negotiating skills; Computer literate; Ability to work effectively without close supervision; Exhibits a high energy level and high degree of self-motivation, positive attitude and ability to demonstrate a ?team spirit? atmosphere; Strong understanding and commitment to the importance of great customer service; Able to work extended/flexible hours as needed, including weekends, nights and holidays. Knowledge of wireless communications industry terminology and applications preferred.
