Service Associates & Supervisors - John Wayne Airport

We are currently seeking SERVICE ASSOCIATES AND SUPERVISORS for our operation in the Los Angeles Airport.

As a Service Associate your responsibilities include: Operate cash register, phone cards, place orders, help maintain inventory, stock merchandise, assist customers, help keep stores clean, perform related work as assigned.

Perform general duties including: cleaning stores and stock rooms, light maintenance, repairs, help maintain stock in stores, help control customer traffic flow in and out of stores, help maintain security at stores, perform related work as assigned.


As a Supervisor your responsibilities include:
Assist the Store Manager in maximizing sales and profits by meeting and exceeding sales budgets while minimizing shrink.
Assists the Store Manager in recruiting and developing quality staff at all levels. Provides input to location succession planning.
Provides leadership, effective management and training for staff.
Ensures communications from home office and the Store Manager is delivered to all staff levels.
Implements and enforces controls that protect the companies assets from internal and external shrink.
Completes on a timely basis all administrative work as assigned by the Store Manager, (i.e. scheduling, back office administration).
Performs daily/ weekly operational audits.
Ensures adherence to all promotional programs and reports deficiencies in compliance to the Store Manager.
Demonstrates excellent product knowledge and visual merchandising skills
Performs daily inspections in each store to ensure company standards in visual presentation, stock replenishment and housekeeping are maintained.
Fulfills all responsibilities of Store Manager in his/her absence including responsiveness to landlord and home office requests.

?  Flexible to work periodic long and/or irregular hours, weekends, and holidays.



 

Education and Experience:

 

?  High School Graduate or equivalent.

?Two years of retail store management experience. 

 

Requirements:

All candidates must be at least 18 years old.  Must be able to work weekends and holidays.  Extensive criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.
