Territory Development Manager

Sara Lee Food & Beverage a recognized leader in the wholesale baking industry is currently looking for Territory Development Managers for the following areas: (Birmingham, Attalla, Muscle Shoals and Huntsville, AL.

 

POSITION SUMMARY

Achieves performance objectives though Independent Operators.  Measured by sales volume, customer service focus, expense control management, and monitor contract compliance.  Responsible to assist Independent Operators in developing their accounts by selling marketing programs, providing business reviews and gaining incremental displays.  Provide Independent Operator orientation to organize for success.

 

Achieve performance objective though Independent Operators. Make plan - achieve district targets for Branded Retail Sales and Stale. Monitor contract compliance.Coordinate distribution on key items and focus on customer service through motivating and selling to Independent Operators.  Responsible for account development tactic in district.  Visit 10 ? 12 accounts each day and sell marketing programs. Responsible for maximizing incremental displays each week. Develop strategies for increasing market share in their District. Communicate Sara Lee Marketing Programs to Independent Operators. Develop and deliver Business Reviews to Key Retailers.Responsible for providing the orientation of Independent operators to organize for success (selling skills, hand held training, ordering process, etc.) Provide Bi-monthly business reviews with Independent Operators. Ensure good two way communication with ZVP, ZBM, and KAM?s. Adhere to and enforce compliance with all company policies, rules, and procedures including Global Business Practices, Diversity & Inclusion, and Human Resources directives.



Experience/Educational Requirements:

Bachelor degree or equivalent experience required.

 

5+ years sales experience required, DSD direct and third-party operations preferred.
