Auto Custom Finance Indirect Lending Business Site Manager- San Jose, CA

  As the Auto Finance Custom Site Manager you will oversee and direct all site operations.  Provide guidance and development of subordinate managers. Have a broad latitude in decision making that may have impact on the functional area.  Formulate and implement operational policies. Frequently interact with other departments.  Sets strategic direction and goals for site/center.  Has significant budget responsibilities.


 


You will be responsible for managing site performance to meet Key Perfomance Indicators, budget, and audit concerns.  Establish processes and procedures to ensure compliance with service levels and performance standards. Manage site profitability by monitoring and addressing pricing, credit mix, rate breakage, LTV's etc.  Monitor credit quality, collections, dealer monitoring, and risk reporting to identify areas of opportunity with respect to overall portfolio quality and profitability. Oversee credit underwriting procedures, processes, and staff to include compliance with credit quality, lending policy, federal banking regulations and bank policies and procedures. Manage and monitor relationships between the Center and other channel members, i.e., Sales, Product, Risk, Compliance, and Legal to establish effective communications and work flows. Develop and monitor the business plan including Financial impact analysis, strategic organizational changes, service performance measures, and effective salary and expense management. Manage human resources issues and build an effective, efficient team.



 Bachelors Degree preferred.  5-7 years of experience as a Credit Manager, or equivalent experience. Sub-prime lending experience in the Auto Finance Industry preferred.  Typically manages a local or secondary site with staff of 10+.  Must possess strong organizational and planning skills and have experience in budgeting and forecasting.  Must possess a comprehensive knowledge of both Retail and Lease products, Bank policies, State and Federal legal and regulatory aspects of Indirect Lending.  Requires excellent leadership, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.  Must have effective oral and written communication skills.
