Lenmar Battery Solutions, a leading rechargeable battery supplier, seeks a proven sales leader. We have an immediate opening for a well organized professional who can grow existing CE retail and ecommerce channels.  

 

Summary of the Position:  The position requires an experienced Sales Professional with 10+ years sales experience with a strong background in Consumer Electronics or Hard Goods and experience selling to Tier 1 and specialty retailers.  Responsibilities include defining long-term product strategy and cost/price structure, leading teams of both in-house and independent sales groups, and executing and delivering results according to sales plan.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Meet or exceed sales goals

- Development of sales strategy, budget and programs

- Sell and develop strategies to expand business in new accounts and grow revenue  within the existing client base

- Build retail partnerships with clients to maximize value and grow profitable sales

- Provide clear direction to sales team

- Ability to create structure, accountability and goals based on productivity

- Coach and assist sales team ?hands on? in strategy and tactics of the sales process: prospecting, product demonstrations, negotiating, and closing

- Determine specific sales strategies and work with sales staff to close

- Provide recommendations for sales strategy to the President

- Take organization requirements and strategy and incorporate successfully into the sales strategy

- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities in ecommerce and retail channels

- Provide feedback regarding market opportunities, trends, competition and pricing.

- Negotiate contracts, develop marketing plans, and monitor achievement against plan.
- Attend all appropriate Industry events Trade Shows.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

-10+ years sales experience with a strong background in Consumer Electronics or Hard Goods, with a minimum of 3 years executive level sales experience

- Experience selling to Tier 1 and specialty retailers

- A strong ?metrics driven? approach to sales management with close attention to daily activity and superior account service

- A demonstrated ability to lead a high impact sales organization.  This leader should be very hands on and enjoy interacting with individuals at all levels of the organization

- Demonstrated verbal written, presentation, computer and communication skills

- Positive approach to problem solving

- Assertive and decisive in the key sales leadership role

- Must be able to travel up to 30% or as needed

- Based in Camarillo, California
