Project Officer

Description: This position reports to VP, CM PBU. Working closely with the senior executive team, this position will be a key contributor to the sales planning and day-to-day operations of the business unit.

Drives the scheduling for annual, quarterly, and monthly sales planning and forecasting processes.
Assists with proposal process and coordinates required information to ensure proposals are completed accurately and in a timely fashion.
Consolidates global sales forecasts and analyzes sales pipeline.
Performs customer analysis, sales analysis and product analysis as required by VP, CM PBU, including presentations development.
Provides internal controls around sales processes.
Working with VP, CM PBU and Finance Representative manages contracts, including tracking of documents and flow of contracts from beginning to end.
Provides general operational planning and coordinates special projects as needed.
General presentation development (quarterly, AOP, business development support, etc.)
Provide regular project and program status to leadership and business owners for each assigned project/initiative.
CM PBU PMO initiatives coordination and execution support.
Partner with cross-functional resources including Product Management, Marketing, Sales, Finance, HR to manage appropriate resource participation in order to ensure project success.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years business experience preferably in telecommunication, software or like industry (i.e. Broadband, Wireless, Computing).
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives in conjunction with changing and sometimes competing priorities.
Must possess strong business acumen, keen business analysis skills including reporting, financial and quantitative analysis skills, and strong, mature judgment.
Required excellence in verbal and written communication, presentation skills and relationship management.
Proven ability to partner with all levels of an organization.
Experience with the implementation of business strategies within the context of larger strategic goals. A solid history of business process design and project management.
Able to work effectively with a full plate of constant activity.
Strong work ethic with emphasis on personal responsibility and accountability.
Bachelor’s degree in related discipline or equivalent experience required.
