This territory includes Northern CA, OR, WA, MT, ID, AK, HI, WY, ND, SD, and NE. JRTI offers a competitive compensation package including salary, commission, paid expenses, and a full benefits package.
James River Technical, Inc. is the exclusive provider of Silicon Graphics Inc., (?SGI?), technology to higher education and research institutions nationwide. In addition, JRTI is an SGI Elite Service provider to Federal customers. James River Technical is an Inc. 500 company and has selling relationships with a number of product suppliers in the HPC market. Job Responsibilities:To sell technology solutions and consulting to customers within specific industry segments and to continually identify new prospects and business opportunities within these sectors. To meet and exceed quarterly and annual bookings and revenue goals.To continuously build a pipeline of new opportunities to ensure quarterly revenue targets are met/exceeded.To work with customers at a strategic level to identify key business challenges and opportunities to sell system capabilities.To help set sales strategies for target industries and to maintain and develop strategic business plans for major accounts and new sales projects. Manages progress against these plans.To identify new opportunities within existing customer base and with clients in the target industries.To qualify opportunities and provide accurate weekly forecasts and to adopt sales process and systems as required by JRTI.To develop a good understanding of the products, services and technical consulting portfolio that JRTI represents.To maintain knowledge of current business issues in target industries and maintain knowledge of competitive vendors solutions.
Job Requirements:
Educated to degree level Good understanding of the specific industries Excellent new business development skills Excellent account management skills Excellent solution selling knowledge/skills. Excellent presentation skills Proven track record in software, consulting and hardware IT companies. Minimum 3 years experience selling high-value IT solutions with a proven successful track record. Self-motivated, creative, flexible, determined to succeed and excel. Enthusiastic and hard working attitude. Excellent communication skills (written and oral) Creative, entrepreneurial individual. Team player. High integrity and professional attitude, treating others with fairness, respect and dignity Self Starter Adapts positively to change. Good planning & organizing skills Delivers on commitments Ambitious both for personal development as well as for company success. 30-50% overnight travel and home office.
