The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for developing prospects and closing sales through aggressive outbound prospecting and creative use of solutions selling skills.

 

Navis, a well-established software company based in Oakland, California, has a dominant market share in software to operate and optimize marine container terminals world-wide. We are rapidly expanding into related markets including inland distribution centers and warehouses.

Key Responsibilities:Make outbound calls to prospects to qualify leads, generate opportunities and create awareness for Navis' SmartTurn WMS software solutionProbe prospects to uncover needs, handle objections, and advance the sales processMove opportunities from initial contact into a subscription contract  Work with the marketing team to implement integrated outbound sales & marketing campaignsWork with customer relationship team to move projects into deployment phase  Update and maintain the sales automation database

 

Minimum Qualifications:2+ years proven inside sales experience with enterprise software solutionsProven ability to successfully work prospect from initial contact to close of saleHighly motivated, self-starter with results-driven, sales-oriented attitude Excellent oral and written communication skills Solid understanding of B2B lead generation and sales process

 

Preferred:Experience in the warehouse management systems market or direct warehouse operations experienceExperience using sales/CRM softwareIntermediate skills in MS Word and MS Excel Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent experience
