Inside Sales Account Executive - Advertising

The Hollywood Reporter, a VNU publication, contains the most respected in-depth coverage of entertainment news, providing updates and feature coverage on all aspects of the entertainment industry.  It is read by producers, directors, and actors and other professionals working in the industry at motion picture studios, independent production companies and television networks.  Regular features for this daily publication include box-office grosses, television ratings, film and TV shows in development and production, columnists and reviews.  The Hollywood Reporter features more advertising pages than any other B-2-B publication.

 

 The Hollyood Reporter's  Inside Sales Account Executive will be responsible for fielding, screening and managing all inbound sales inquiry calls and emails in reference to inside sales.  This person will qualify and close all inbound advertising sales opportunities within the assigned categories and will provide lead generation and create new opportunities not limited to assigned categories.  The end result will be the increase in sales revenues for The Hollywood Reporter?s inside sales team.  The demonstrated ability to communicate well and provide great customer service will ensure success for the account executive.

 

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

Sales

? Generate revenue by selling advertising to inbound sales inquiries to meet revenue goals

? Demonstrate the ability to sell the value of the brand and the benefits of frequency advertising

? Be able to answer all questions from potential advertisers and have complete brand and product knowledge

? Manage and sell into the online section of an assigned category

? Cold call new accounts and follow up as needed

 

Lead Generation

? Identify Key Accounts as growth possibilities to create lead lists

? Prospect for new leads that fit into current or new categories

? Partner with Research Analyst to provide updates to management team on lead generation

 

Sales Administration

? Provide marketing materials needed to attain the sale, media kits, marketing sheets, etc

? Work with appropriate departments as needed to facilitate sales needs

? Handle post sales activities related to inbound sales activities, billing issues, proofs, receipts, etc

? Prepare daily and weekly reports for Sales Manager

? Enter and track prospects and associated notes within the sales contact database
