Consumer Development Specialist - Seattle, WA

Working under the guidance of the Business Development Manager, you will work out of your home and visit your key accounts for product demonstrations, trade-shows and other exciting events. In most cases, you will coordinate your visits with the customer based on a mutually agreeable date/time, giving you the flexibility to work around your schedule. Responsibilities of this position include:
- Build and develop relationships with key accounts and end-users through customer visits and follow-up calls.
- Introduce new products and demonstrate changes/enhancements that have added value to existing products.
- Represent ACCO Brands at trade-shows, "lunch and learns" and other customer events as directed by the regional Business Development Manager.
- Maintain a record of all customer contacts and other activities and track results.

Required Skills:
- Must be proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite of products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and calendar management through the use of Microsoft Outlook.
- HS diploma required; BA degree preferred.
- 2+ yrs of sales and/or other business related experiences.
- Excellent communication skills and professional presentation.
- Small storage area for product samples and literature. This is a home-based position.
- Must have reliable transportation. Mileage reimbursement will be paid.
- This is a part-time position with an average work-week of approximately 20 hours.
