Job Summary:
The incumbent is part of a team which staffs an 800 number which is called by prospects that have seen advertising or promotion, and are inquiring about the Individual and Senior products.

Responsibilities:
1. Identify qualified respondents for further action
2. Close the sale to qualified prospects, or
3. Identify qualified prospects who are not willing to buy at this time for appropriate follow-up.
4. Participate in setting and achieving sales and service goals.

Minimum Qualifications:
1. General understanding of products and services for Individual, Medicare Supplements, managed care and fee for service.
2. Prior related inbound/outbound call center experience.
3. Demonstrated success in telemarketing sales.
4. Ability to learn quickly and continuously.
5. Ability to complete moderately complicated procedures and tasks, which require independent judgment, such as setting task priorities, evaluating results, coordinating with others.
6. Keyboard and computer experience.
7. A pleasing and professional telephone voice and presentation.
8. Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
9. Valid agent's license for Disability Insurance or the ability to obtain such license with 60 days of employment.
