About the Opportunity

We're looking for a career-minded, growth-oriented individual to fill the role of Division Sales Manager (DSM). The work environment is fast-paced and high-energy. The successful candidate will work with people who are passionate about what they do.

The Division Sales Manager (DSM) position is a traditional business to business outside sales management position, responsible for managing a team of 9-12 sales professionals.  The Division Sales Manager (DSM) will be responsible for all sales related activities, with a primary focus on the PAR (Preferred Account Representative), NES (National Events Services Representative) and CSR (Customer Service Representative) positions. 

 

The ideal candidate would possess experience in the following construction or construction related fields and possess advanced industry knowledge and applicable skill sets, related to the following:

Job Responsibility:

? Forecasting individual sales by product line (period and annual), customer, PAR (Preferred Account Representative), NES (National Events Services Representative), and CSR?s (Customer Service Representative) for each quarter

? Analyze, forecast, and evaluate the results of the PAR (Preferred Account Representative) and CSR (Customer Service Representative) monthly Sales objectives and results by regional office and division

? Analyze, forecast and evaluate the results of the NES (National Events Services Representative) monthly Sales objectives and results by regional office and division

? Evaluate actual monthly sales for each representative and recommend necessary adjustments to sales expectations

? Schedule action plan meetings with all PAR (Preferred Account Representative), NES (National Events Services Representative), and CSR?s (Customer Service Representative) that fall short of their monthly expectations.

? The Division Sales Manager (DSM) will attend key customer appointments with the sales force to provide support to both the customer and sales representative

? Provide daily coaching, training, and support to the PAR (Preferred Account Representative), NES (National Events Services Representative) and CSR?s (Customer Service Representative) in the division or region

? Attend trade shows that occur in their divisions

? Assist in the development, weekly maintenance, and training of Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and McGraw Hill system to the sales force

? Review Weekly Tracking Report to assess performance of each sales representative

? Coordinate with Sales Director?s on the following topics: Sales Blitz, PAR (Preferred Account Representative)/ NES (National Events Services Representative) monthly expectation, sales by regional office

? Assist the regional office in both construction and special event See-Jobs, as requested by the Regional Manger, Division Manger or Sales Director

Quarterly Job Expectations

? The Division Sales Manager (DSM) will have full knowledge of all NCR product lines

? The Division Sales Manager (DSM) will complete a quarterly business review of the top 10 and bottom 10 customers in each regional office, in the divisions

? The Division Sales Manager (DSM) will be responsible for the revenue of the top 5 customers in each regional office within the divisions

? The Division Sales Manager (DSM) will visit each regional office a minimum of four times per quarter

? The Division Sales Manager (DSM) will host a minimum of one weekly sales meeting in each regional office, per month

? The Division Sales Manager (DSM) attend a minimum of one association event for each region, per quarter

? The Division Sales Manager (DSM) will assist in the selection, interviewing and hiring of the sales force

? The Division Sales Manager (DSM) will maintain 90% of the sales force budgeted People Plan within the divisions: PAR (Preferred Account Representative), NES (National Events Services Representative) & CSR?s (Customer Service Representative). 

? The Division Sales Manager (DSM) will be responsible for the CSR?s (Customer Service Representative) training on outbound phone calls and sales plan pitch, tracking and analyzing results
