IC Territory Manager-CO/AZ

THIS POSITION COULD BE BASED OUT OF COLORADO OR ARIZONA


 


BASIC FUNCTION:


Works without significant direction, planning and organizing own activities.  Primary sales contact with customers for the sale of company product.  Responsible for the coordination of all sales, training and service needed by customers.   


 





MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED/QUALIFICATIONS:


·  Knowledge necessary to perform at this level is generally acquired through a Bachelor's Degree or Nursing Degree or at least four years sales experience. 


·  Sound understanding of the Business's sales strategies and philosophies.


·  Thorough understanding of the Business's products and therapy applications.


·  Advanced sales techniques and selling skills.


·  Thorough understanding and support of the Business's values and customer approach.


·  Demonstrated and effective leadership and managerial skills.


·  Requires Nursing degree or four years sales experience.


·  Requires sound understanding of Gambro Renal Products sales and marketing strategies.


·  Requires understanding of [GRP’s] products and therapy applications.


·  Requires clinical and some selling or negotiating skills.


·  Knowledge of dialysis marketplace.


·  Requires good oral and written communication skills.


·  Basic computer knowledge required.


 


RESPONSIBILITIES:


·  Sales Achievement - generate necessary sales to meet or exceed sales goals and achieve appropriate sales prices.  Meet appropriate contribution margins.  Track and analyze progress.


·  Territory Management - prioritize accounts to determine coverage, assess opportunity and develop new business.  Coordinate and manage resources to provide necessary customer service.  Prepare weekly and monthly plans, track and analyze progress and trends, and prepare annual territory sales plan.


·  Account Management - maintain account/customer profiles and account plans for key accounts.  Keep up and renew contracts.  Develop consultative role to manage customer training needs, facilitate relationship building and provide necessary customer service. Track and analyze progress.


·  Maintain a positive, proactive, confrontive approach to problem solving.


·  Selling - plan and make sales calls to achieve sales goals.  Evaluate and re-plan future contacts.


·  Administration/Internal Communications - manage budget and expenses, adhere to company policies and communicate effectively with corporate and field personnel.


·  Personal and Professional Development - continuously increase and sharpen therapy and technical knowledge as well as selling, negotiating and presentation skills. 


·  Responsible for training new field sales people.


·  Responsible for conducting in-service training.


·  Focuses on achieving sales plan within territory.


·  Focuses on staying within capacity costs within territory.


·  Manage territory and customers as a business.


·  Assumes responsibility of in-servicing equipment and disposable products to customers.


·  Assumes responsibility of knowing specifics on all customer contracts.


·  Assumes responsibility of maintaining customer database for territory.


·  Assumes responsibility of turning in all required written reports on a timely basis.


·  Coordinates with Regional Sales Manager any customer visits.


·  Participates in sales and nursing meetings within region.


·  Adheres to company policies and procedures.


·  Requires the ability to travel with appropriate tools and/or resources to perform responsibilities (i.e. laptop computer, etc).


·  Must be able to push dialysis equipment, which is on wheels, from one location to another, and be able to lift up to 25lbs in solutions and accessories.


·  Must be able to lift Prisma machine into vehicle - approximately 50lbs.


·  Must be able to use load/unload tool to load and unload Prismaflex into and out of company vehicle.


·  Must be able to maneuver Prismaflex into a storage place when not in use where the temperature will not go below 0 degrees Fahrenheit.


 

Education: Bachelors Degree
