Lumber Product Manager I or II* (DOE)

An opportunity exists in our Building Materials Distribution Division of Boise Cascade LLC, for a Lumber Product Manager I or II (DOE) in the Phoenix, AZ area.

 



Responsibilities:

 

Purchase and manage commodity products i.e., lumber/plywood/OSB, and related items for inventory. Purchase, price, and coordinate shipment, and sell direct commodity items to dealers. Maintain acceptable inventory levels and maximize sales and gross profit. Develop and introduce marketing plan/promotions for new products to customer base. Maintain direct control over purchasing, pricing, and inventory of assigned commodity products in a team environment. Solicit direct sales of assigned commodity products to dealers. *DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE*

 

Qualifications:

 

Degree in business or marketing preferred. Strong commodity background with minimum of 2-5 years of experience in inside sales, general line product management, or outside sales. Must have excellent sales and communication skills, be aggressive, flexible, and have strong organization and leadership skills.
